Chi mi segue anche su Facebook, avrà di sicuro letto che con la mia dolce metà siamo tornati da poco da una vacanzetta europea. In alternativa alla settimana di mare in villaggio all inclusive,quest’anno abbiamo optato per una combo cittadina e così la scelta è ricaduta su 2 città tanto affascinanti quanto diverse: Amsterdam e Stoccolma.
Sotto consiglio della mia amichetta B!Girl, ho deciso di raccontarvi la mia esperienza…se non vi piace l’idea, prendetevela con lei ahahahah
Amsterdam…
C’è chi la descrive come la patria della perdizione, chi la racconta come una folle esperienza. Io di Amsterdam conservo un ricordo: per me è tutto e il contrario di tutto.

Mille culture, mille modi di fare, mille lingue si incrociano, in quella che è la città più cosmopolita d’Europa.

Le diversità si rispettano,convivono e creano un’atmosfera gioviale e distesa.

Ad Amsterdam nessuno osa fissarti per più di un secondo, girano personaggi particolari, look mai visti, ma nessuno li giudica,tutti cercano il dialogo e si scambiano spesso frasi di cortesia in un inglese improvvisato.

Cammini per il centro storico e vedi gente che ride fotografando un’escrescenza dal terreno, cerchi di capire e ti trovi una scultura d’oro di una mano che tocca un seno, alzi gli occhi e ad un passo scorgi una chiesa, poi avanzi di un metro e ti imbatti in una donna in vetrina, tutto scorre normale,tra un sexy shop e un monumento,tra un ristorante e un coffee shop.
Cammini mano nella mano circondata da biciclette e tram, i mezzi sono frequenti e trovi posto a sedere quasi a tutte le ore.

Il romanticismo dei ponti,i fiumi la rendono una piccola Venezia, parchi immensi completamente verdi ti regalano serenità. Ovunque è disseminata arte, istallazioni d’autore, musei e sculture sono sparsi per la città. Amsterdam è viva a tutte le ore, tanta vigilanza garantisce la sicurezza, nonostante non vi siamo molti divieti, è una città sicura, tranquilla e rilassante.
Ogni vicolo ha un odore diverso, è piena di odori, di profumi più o meno intensi, è colma di colori, fiori, palazzi che sembrano disegnati.
E’ una città che si gira in 48 ore, si riesce a visitare senza troppi problemi soprattutto se siete degli instancabili amanti delle passeggiate..proprio come noi!

Cosa sapere e cose curiose:
-L’aeroporto di Schipol è uno dei più belli d’Europa, vale la pena girarlo per bene, è colmo di negozi e di aree particolari, è molto grande, per cui consiglio di arrivare almeno 2 ore prima del volo. L’area più mi è rimasta impressa è una zona verde, piena di alberi, di strumenti curiosi che arrivano da Nemo, il museo della scienza, cyclettes che ricaricano dispositivi elettronici a colpi di pedalate, lettini e sedie strane per il relax.
-Dall’aeroporto di Schipol, c’è un treno che in meno di 20 minuti arriva ad Amsterdam Station Central (costo 4,40 euro)
-i tickets di tram e bus si acquistano anche sul mezzo stesso e vanno timbrati quando si sale e quando si scende (ticket corsa singola durata 1h costo 2,80 euro/ ticket 24 ore costo 7,50)
-La maggior parte degli hotel chiede una caparra pari a 100 euro e una tassa di soggiorno pari al 5,50 % della spesa totale.

-Invece del bus per turisti, consiglio di prendere il tram n° 5, gira tutta la città e si riescono a vedere le principali attrazioni e a scendere alla fermata giusta, grazie agli autisti che fungono anche da guide della città.
-Occhio alle biciclette, sfrecciano veloci e rischiano di investirvi!
-Se cercate un hotel di ottima qualità e ben collegato, vi consiglio il Crown Plaza Amsterdam South, è un 4 stelle romantico e stiloso, ma se trovate l’offerta giusta costa quanto un hotel di categorie più basse. E’ a 3 minuti da Amsterdam Zuid (10 minuti di treno dall’aeroporto di Schipol) e a 5 minuti dal tram 5.
-La notte spuntano urinatoi a due passi dai ristoranti del centro,(noi ci siamo imbattuti in quelli a Leidsplein),che poi magicamente la mattina scompaiono sotto terra.

-I coffee shop vendono di tutto, ma ognuno ha le proprie regole. Quello più grazioso e l’unico in cui siamo entrati è stato il The Dolphins vicino a Leidsplein. Appena entrati sembra di essere all’interno di un acquario gigante, è tutto stranissimo e ovunque si trova la scritta “vietato fumare tabacco,qui solo cannabis”,sembra una battuta e invece provate ad accendere una sigaretta e poi vedete come si infuriano. All’interno, oltre a vendere canne di mille tipi, non vendono alcool (canne e alcool non vanno d’accordo), si possono acquistare solo analcolici e un fantomatico muffin di accompagnamento. Lo Space Muffin (9 euro)si presentava cioccolatosissimo, e sormontato da un delfino gommoso, sembrava gustoso alla vista, ma facendo 2+2, abbiam capito che si trattava di un dolce dagli effetti un pó particolari e quindi abbiamo ordinato una cannetta leggera(tutta per il mio ragazzo, specifico!)costo 7,50 euro e un looza all’ananas (succo di frutta) costo 2,50 euro. Cosa importante: ogni persona deve consumare qualcosa, altrimenti non si può sedere all’interno,sono intransigenti!
-Tra i tanti fast food Febo è stato il fast food rivelazione… si tratta di una catena di distributori automatici di hamburger e crocchette, tutte cose calde che si erogano con un gettone!!!
E con questo chiudo parentesi…dopo Amsterdam, il prossimo Giovedì vi racconterò Stoccolma, una città fiabesca e surreale!

Mi ricordo Amsterdam come la città dell'acqua, dei canali, e della viabilità impossibile, se sei in macchina, ma quasi niente perdizione…sarà che le donne in vetrina, i sexy shop e i personaggi bizzarri che la popolano sono talmente integrati nei muri della città, che non li percepisci più come elementi deviati.
A me era piaciuta molto, moltissimo, ed è uno dei ricordi di viaggio più belli che ho. A parte la compagnia con cui ero, ma ormai si è quasi sbiadita, per cui mi restano belle foto e immagini di una città particolarissima.
Piacerebbe anche a me girare un po di posti vedere luoghi e culture diverse .. sicuramente ti sarai divertita .
SOno arrabbiatissima con me stessa !!!! Pensa che mia cugina abita e lavora lì, mi ha invitata mille volte e non mi è mai riuscito di andare. Amsterdam è meravigliosa attraverso i tuoi occhi

Semplicemente adoro Amsterdam, e l'Olanda in generale! Basti pensare che da febbraio a giugno ci siamo andati due volte!! Trovo che la descrizione della città e dell'equilibrio multietnico che descrivi sia assolutamente azzeccata! Anche io mi sono trovata ad amare la sicurezza e la tranquillità di una città che ritenevo invivibile, proprio per tutte le libertà che sono concesse! Ed invece, una grande meravigliosa rivelazione! Non vedo l'ora di leggere di stoccolma! Un abbraccio!
