Avete presente la casetta di marzapane di Hansel e Gretel ? Quando mia madre mi raccontava quella fiaba, mi ricordo le mie costanti interruzioni “Mamma, mi racconti come era fatta la casetta?”. Le sue descrizioni erano così zuccherose che le avrei ascoltate per ore, più che il continuo della storia, io volevo sempre avere qualche dettaglio in più sulla casetta”Ma le finestre, erano di cioccolato? E i pomelli delle porte? I vasi dei fiori erano di pan di spagna?”. Anche da piccola, avevo una certa propensione per le cose buone e nella mia mente, la casetta di Hansel era fiabesca, dai colori tenui ed emanava dei profumi invitanti…

L’interno della casetta me lo immaginavo dai colori pastello, pieno di dolciumi bellissimi e carico di zucchero colorato. Dallo scorso sabato, giorno in cui ho scoperto la Bakery House, la mia idea della casetta di marzapane si è materializzata. Avevo scoperto questo incanto sul web e così con Emy, non potevamo che andare in missione, volevamo sperimentare questo nuovo posto, desideravamo regalarci un momento di piacere e così senza esitazioni, per la nostra colazione ipercalorica, abbiamo scelto la “Bakery House”.

Alla Bakery House, paradiso della bontà dolce e salata, si trovano tutte quelle meravigliose creazioni zuccherate, ospitate in un’atmosfera fiabesca e sospesa nel tempo. Il locale è piccolino e raccolto, c’è un ricambio continuo di golosoni ma nonostante il via vai, il personale è cortese, simpatico ed attento. Alle lanterne che fungono da lampadari sono appese bellissime sculture raffiguranti dolciumi, su tutte le pareti si trovano quadrucci e pitture raffiguranti cupcakes, fette di torte e cioccolatosi muffins, insomma nulla è lasciato al caso.

Il bancone è pieno di stupefacenti creature in bella mostra e dalla cucina sfornano continuamente prodotti freschi. La Bakery House, alle 11 di sabato scorso era piuttosto piena, ma con mia sorella non abbiamo desistito e così siamo riuscite ad aggiudicarci il nostro tavolo. Senza troppi indugi, dato che eravamo già psicologicamente pronte, ordiniamo:
-2 cappuccini (1,50 per pezzo)
-1 fetta di cheesecake ai frutti rossi (4,50 Euro)
-pancakes al cioccolato (4,50 Euro)

Nell’attesa ci gustiamo l’atmosfera, e mi si materializza la classica genialata dell’ultimo minuto…Voi direte, di cosa si tratta? Più che di una genialata, forse si tratta di un’azione da bimba-minkia, tant’è vero che la mia sorellina un pò si è vergognata…A disposizione dei clienti, sulle pareti sono installati alcuni ipad pronti per l’uso e così, ne ho approfittato per googlare “Impossibile Fermare i Battiti”, ho scattato qualche foto e poi tipo candid camera, ho iniziato a spiare i movimenti e le impressioni dei “colazionieri”alle prese con il tablet…

Il mio template sembrava proprio perfetto per l’atmosfera della Bakery, tant’è che la prima coppietta, non ha fatto altro che leggere il mio blog, sfogliandolo qua e là…Che emozione, non avete idea…hihihi Mi sembravo una bambina in preda alla visione della nuova Barbie.

Ma la seconda coppia purtroppo dopo un veloce giro sul blog, ha iniziato lo zapping. Il mio sorriso ha invertito la curva…amarezza allo stato puro, durata giusto un istante perchè la sorridente ragazza della Bakery, arriva al nostro tavolo con il giusto carico di felicità.

“Ottima scelta direi, da dove si comincia?!”
Iniziamo ad affondare i denti sui pancakes, non contente li inondiamo di sciroppo d’acero e con gli occhi chiusi constatiamo la verità…”Questi sono i veri pancakes, soffici, friabili, profumati, mai mangiati così buoni!”. Continuiamo con l’assaggio della cheesecake, altissima, dal sapore delicato ma con quel retrogusto formaggioso, il contrasto della base biscottata con la soffice cremosità e poi i frutti rossi, con quel sapore fresco. In tutto questo idillio di sapori, ci stupisce la cremosità del cappuccino…”Sanno fare bene anche il cappuccino, non è mica cosa da poco è!”

Le porzioni sono davvero abbondanti, piene, cariche e belle da mangiare, anche con gli occhi, i prezzi in proporzione sono giusti…Non aspettatevi i classici 2 euro di cappuccino e cornetto, ma sappiate che il rapporto qualità- prezzo è onesto. In due abbiamo speso 12 Euro, ma vi assicuro che è stata davvero una mattinata di goduria per il palato, una colazione da fare una tantum…e che ti fa arrivare l’umore alle stelle!!!

Se però avete posti similari, localini graziosi per colazioni o pasti, segnalatemi che sarò ben felice di prendere appunti e andare a fare dei sopralluoghi…per quanto riguarda Milano, ho avuto già due dritte da Elisha, come possibile, si sperimenterà. Per la ruota di Roma e per tutte le altre ruote (tipo estrazione del Lotto!), avete nomi da indicarmi? Per le romane, che ancora non hanno gradito…consiglio vivamente di perdersi nei sapori della Bakery House di Corso Trieste…ne vale la pena!!!

Uffaaaaa! Da me posti così sfiziosi non ci sono!!! Però conosco un bar a Pistoia davvero grazioso, dove fanno cupcakes e altre golosità, magari ti mando la foto.
Nelle piccole città non è facile trovare posti del genere…questo poi è curato nei minimi dettagli….adoro i pancakes….non so se l'hai fatto, ma prova a metterci lo sciroppo d'acero caldo, invece che versato direttamente dalla confezione a freddo…è tremila volte meglio. Per il resto…quanto vorrei gustarmi una bella colazione alla Bakery House, so già che impazzirei nello scegliere cosa mangiare!!!!
