“C’è nessuno?!?” Arrivati a Latera io e il mio ragazzo
sembravamo un po’ le due particelle di sodio dell’acquaLete! Passeggiavamo
lentamente nel silenzioso borgo e né una voce, né una sagoma si scorgeva nei
pressi. Inquietudine e malinconia? No, al contrario, si respirava una piacevole
atmosfera…Sembrava di essere su un’isola deserta e il cervello era libero dai
pensieri! Un lieve venticello ci ricordava l’altitudine del luogo, siamo sui
650 metri di altezza e d’estate, a detta dei locali, si sta divinamente!

Come ormai sapete bene, ci piace fuggire ed
esplorare luoghi nuovi e così continuiamo ad affidarci alle esperienze dei
viaggiatori più incalliti. Anche questa volta ci è andata di lusso, come si

Ad ospitare la nostra sete di esplorazione è stato il Covo dei Briganti, un agriturismo a pochi passi dal cuore di Latera, un polmone
verde gestito dalla simpatia e dalla disponibilità di un trio ben assortito:
Riccardo, Elisa e lo “Zio”, (ormai anche noi lo chiamiamo così 🙂 !

L’agriturismo offre
delle camere con ingresso indipendente, sono tutte molto spaziose, 25 mq di
comodità, e colorate. A noi è capitata la solare camera dei “Girasoli”, accogliente
e curata nel dettaglio. Siamo arrivati
nel pomeriggio, (il check in è dalle 15) ed abbiamo potuto apprezzare il

è magico, rustico e grazioso, subito ci si sente a casa. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare altri 6

Ma bando alle ciance, arriviamo al dunque. Avevamo una fame esagerata e
così non abbiamo guardato in faccia nessuno e complice la familiarità del
luogo, ecco le nostre scelte:

Voto complessivo: un 10 convinto!!!Il maghetto ha fatto
miracoli, un antipasto così buono era da tempo che non lo gustavamo: bruschette
con olio biologico, polenta fritta, cipollotto fritto e affettati gustosi. A

dai parliamone…Direi eccelsa, consigliatissima la grigliata mista, il fiocco
buono ma non mi ha entusiasmata. Per concludere in bellezza immancabile il
dolce e noi abbiamo provato lo strudel bello caldo e zuccheroso, proprio
divino!!! “Pancia mia fatti capanna”, quando si varca la soglia della Cantina
del Mago, sembra questo il primo pensiero! Insomma, profumi e bontà a volontà e
