L’Italia è uno scrigno meraviglioso, racchiude scorci, angoli, realtà tutte da scoprire. Percorrendo strade di campagna, lontane dal caos della città, si arriva in mondi incontaminati, dove il silenzio si incontra con la natura e lo spettacolo si apre ai nostri occhi.
Non bisogna allontanarsi chissà quanto dalla città, per scoprire luoghi incontaminati e mondi paralleli e Impossibile Fermare i Battiti, come ormai sapete bene, è sempre pronto a partire alla volta di isole deserte, goduriose cucine da assaporare e nuova aria da respirare.
Oggi vi porto alla scoperta di un grazioso borgo del viterbese, trattasi di Soriano nel Cimino, un angolo di fresco relax medievale, un luogo tutto da fotografare, dove ogni scorcio sembra un dipinto, dove ogni vicolo racconta una storia, salite di pietra, piccoli scalini e portoni, voci e dialetti e quell’atmosfera di un tempo.
Soriano nel Cimino, sulla carta è il paesino più popoloso di Viterbo, con circa 8.500 abitanti, ma in realtà, in un giorno di soggiorno siamo riusciti a mala pena a vedere un centinaio di persone. E’ quindi il posto ideale se si ha voglia di passare 24 ore lontane dal tram tram cittadino. Si arriva alla piazza principale, al cosiddetto centro storico, si supera il municipio e si parcheggia. Se siete fortunati trovate i posteggi gratuiti, in caso contrario con 20 centesimi l’ora ve la cavate.
Lasciate alle spalle i pensieri e immergetevi nelle bellezze dei panorami, gustatevi la quotidianità del panettiere, le chiacchiere in piazzetta e i rintocchi delle campane.
Se poi volete svegliarvi con il cinguettìo degli uccellini e respirare un sorso di aria buona, vi consiglio vivamente di concedervi un piccolo lusso, quello di alloggiare in un antico palazzo, il Palazzo Catalani, situato nel centro storico e perfetto per una gita fuori porta da mille e una notte. E Badate bene, salvaguardando il portafogli!
Affreschi meravigliosi, storia, gentilezza del personale, comodità e ampi spazi ad un prezzo piccolo piccolo. Se vi muovete nella bassa stagione, con booking troverete offerte che vi faranno strabuzzare gli occhi…Un esempio? Club Suite, ossia un vero e proprio appartamentino con cucina attrezzata a soli 30 Euro (esclusa la colazione)!!! Non ci credete? Beh, peggio per voi, posso mostrarvi la ricevuta è! Pensate che bello, fuggite via dalla realtà, magari vi fate anche una bella scorta di schifezze e vi disintossicate da smog, inquinamento acustico e stress 🙂
P.s. L’hotel non è ben servito per quanto riguarda i canali tv, ma sappiate che mette a disposizione decine e decine di dvd, basterà andare alla hall e scegliere il film preferito (o magari portate da casa il vostro film da gustare!)
