Io e il cinema abbiamo una relazione complicata. Sono la classica brutta persona che si accomoda in sala, mangia un po’ di pop corn e si appisola. Sono la classica brutta persona alla quale urleresti “se devi dormire stattene a casa!” Ve lo giuro, non è colpa mia, la stanchezza combinata con l’erronea scelta dell’orario non mi aiuta, io non posso andare all’ultimo spettacolo, gli occhi mi si chiudono in automatico e vi assicuro che non è affatto divertente.

Lo ammetto: sono una tipa difficile cinematograficamente parlando, o forse sono troppo semplice, cerco trame non troppo impegnative, cerco sempre il lieto fine e quel senso di leggerezza che mi permette di spegnere il cervello. Era dai tempi del “La Bella e La Bestia” che non provavo la piacevole sensazione di uscire dalla sala, sveglia, pimpante e felice. E’ di nuovo una favola ad aver fatto breccia nel mio cuore, è la volta di Cenerentola, il “nuovo” film della Walt Disney, una pellicola che mi ha riempito il cuore di valori, di bellezza, di amore e romanticismo.

Conosco a memoria ogni frame del cartone animato e la curiosità di scoprire la sua trasposizione cinematografica mi ha stuzzicato sin dal primo momento. Temevo cadute di stile, topolini e gatti parlanti o scene troppo computerizzate e surreali e invece no, tutto è filato liscio. La storia di Ella-Cenerentola per amici e sorellastre- viene raccontata così come la conosciamo, la trama è più o meno intatta, c’è giusto qualche innesto e qualche piccola modifica che però funziona alla grande, anzi, a dirla tutta riesce a rispondere a tanti miei interrogativi che nel cartone restavano incompiuti. Innumerevoli le scene toccanti, tanti gli spezzoni ripresi fedelmente dalla versione cartoon, densi di emozioni gli sguardi tra Cenerentola e Kit, il giovane principe azzurro, pulito e puro l’amore che si respira nella loro storia. Degno di nota per tutti i sognatori incalliti, il momento in cui entra in scena la Fata Madrina, ironica, buffa e in grado di cambiare il mondo almeno fino allo scoccare della mezzanotte.
Che dire poi del gran ballo, semplicemente meraviglioso: abiti incredibili e palazzo maestoso. Un po’ troppo bella la matrigna, interpretata da Cate Blanchett, ma ci può stare, perché in fondo l’apparenza è ingannevole e non sempre il “bella dentro e bella fuori” è un concetto che funziona. Tanti i messaggi veicolati nella pellicola, sfumature che da bimba passavano inosservate ora si fanno chiare e fanno riflettere. Ella è un’ eroina, colei che nonostante tutto e tutti riesce sempre a sorridere; la sua positività è disarmante e l’applicazione del “Sii coraggiosa e gentile sempre”, (consiglio della mamma di Cenerentola prima di morire) è praticamente una costante.
Il lieto fine di ogni “C’era una volta” che si rispetti qui arriva in maniera limpida, Ella ne ha passate di cotte e di crude e lo merita più che mai. Così dopo aver sognato ad occhi aperti un briciolo di felicità, la giovane protagonista si ritrova catapultata a palazzo tra le braccia del bel Kit. Lei però non dimentica il passato e fino all’ultimo secondo fa emergere la sua nobiltà d’animo.
Cenerentola è un film per tutti, non soltanto per bambini ed eterni peter pan, ognuno può trovarci un lato interessante, è una pellicola che merita sotto diversi aspetti e chi parte prevenuto non sa cosa si perde. Voto 9+: adattamento fedele e lineare, personaggi ben caratterizzati, costumi, location ed effetti speciali da urlo.
